STEVE FOTI
With more than twenty-eight years experience at the California State Board of Equalization, Steve's expertise covers all sales, use and excise tax issues. Serving as a Senior Tax Auditor at the Board's San Francisco office, Steve's responsibilities included large sales and use tax audits of industrial businesses, financial institutions, software developers and public utility companies. In addition, he performed audits of public and private universities and non-profit organizations. Steve worked to develop and strengthen the Board's audit programs by analyzing tax and legal issues raised in audits and reviewing those findings with key tax and legal representatives. Steve served ten years as the San Francisco District Training Coordinator and was responsible for planning and supervising the Board's annual training program for more than 100 auditors in the district. Steve received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Accounting from San Francisco State University. |
